How will a virtual conference work?
What’s up with the in-person conference?
I pre-registered — what happens with that info?
When will I know if the in-person conference dates change?
Was my panel proposal accepted?
I’d like to support SEJ and reach SEJ members. Can I still sponsor or exhibit at the virtual conference?
How do I stay up to date?
The #SEJ2020 Virtual Conference will be held via Whova, a mobile and desktop event app that allows you to attend the conference sessions and events virtually, receive conference news, network with friends and colleagues, set your own personalized schedule, and share comments and photos all in one place. This event has open “seating” — you can attend any or all sessions.
Please save the dates of June 2-6, 2021 for #SEJ2021. We are looking forward to seeing you in beautiful Boise, Idaho, for a full slate of networking, tours, and sessions. We do not recommend making non-refundable travel plans at this time.
If you pre-registered this Spring, your spot in #SEJ2021 workshops and/or tours will be reserved and you can either reconfirm your interest or choose other options when #SEJ2021 registration opens in 2021. Pre-registration does not apply to the #SEJ2020 virtual conference, so please register for this event separately.
The health and safety of our attendees is our first priority, and the SEJ Conference team continues to monitor COVID-19 developments closely. If the #SEJ2021 conference is rescheduled (again), we will let you know as soon as possible. Please do not make non-refundable travel plans at this time. We will continue to provide status updates on the conference website and via our Annual Conference email list.
The co-chairs have reviewed and evaluated the 200+ session proposals from SEJ members. However, since we may need to make room for some new sessions, we are holding the notifications for now. In the meantime, don’t hesitate to contact SEJ Conference Director Jay Letto for more information on your proposal status.
We will continue to provide status updates on the conference website and via our Annual Conference email list.
